Bristol Haul!

Today I took a little trip to Bristol and did a nice bit of shopping whilst I was there, I'm flying of to Majorca on Tuesday so I needed to get some last minute items, here is what I got.

Primark

The first item I got in primark was this summer dress, it was in the sale for £5 which I thought was a very good price for this, it has a stripe/floral print, the material is a little bit see through so you might need to wear a top underneath and on the back it has an open V shape with 3 bows going across it.

I picked up this beach towel for £5 which is an okay price, I just needed to bring one in my suitcase.

Next I got this floral print cropped T-Shirt for £5 which I really like which would look nice with a pair of shorts. It's a good fit and is true to its size.

The last item I got were these cute smurf pyjamas for £8, I have a really bad PJ obsession and whenever I go to primark there's a 90% chance I'll be walking out with some. These are really cool to wear and a good fit.

River Island

I'm not really a sunglasses person but I saw these and had to get them, they have a really nice fit and are the only pair I've had that actually suit my face, they were £10

These shoes were originally bought for my sister but they were too small for her so I said I'd have them, I don't normally wear these type of shoes because I'm quite girly but I thought they might be good for my street dance lessons at college or something. They were in the sale for £7 which I think is a bargain.

New Look

Next I got this Aztec print dress for £14.99 in New look which I love, it's a really soft thin material which would be good to wear on nice summer days.

Topshop

The last shop I went into was Topshop which is my favourite shop, I bought these denim look shorts which were £10 I bought them to wear over my bikini when I'm on holiday but they also be good to exercise in or just to chill out in.

The last item (and my favourite item) of the day is this daisy print dress for £32 I was about unsure about getting this as it was a bit pricey but its such a pretty dress I couldn't help myself, it fits perfect and the material feels really nice, it's actually not printed but instead the flowers I stitched into the material. I'll definitely be wearing it a lot!

As always, thanks for reading :)

An English Summer Day

The weather in England at the moment is gorgeous! We're a couple of days into what's meant to be a two week heat wave, as I'm jetting off to Majorca next week, I've been using the time wisely and topping up my tan.

As my college has finished for the summer I haven't seen my friends all together for a while, so we decided to spend the day together playing mini golf and enjoying the sun.

The golf course in Bath is lovely, it has fountains, streams and ponds and it's also pretty cheap as well!

Now, I'm normally completely terrible when it comes to golf, come to think of it I'm normally terrible at most sports but halfway through the course today I was in 1st place. I think I opened my mouth too soon as from then on it went downhill, when you play mini golf you are aloud to hit the ball 9 times before admitting defeat and I unfortunately had to admit defeat four holes in a row and I didn't do much better with the remaining 5 (I blame it on the heat)

After tallying up our scores I had unfortunately moved down to last place with a shocking score of 91 compared to my fellow team mates 70, 72 and 75 points. Oh well maybe next time ay?

All in all it was a fun afternoon and I would recommend visiting the golf course if you happen to be in Bath at any point.

That evening we also went to get some food in Giraffe. I really fancied a cocktail but they were rather expensive and I'm on 'financial lockdown' as my friend would say, as I need all my money for Majorca. I ordered the 'Rodeo Chicken burger' which was good but after eating in Gourmet Burger Kitchen which is just opposite Giraffe it definitely wasn't up to their standard and GBK is a lot cheaper too, so I'd recommend going there instead.

Thankyou for reading, this blog entry was mainly a memory for me to read back and remember but  I hope I may have helped any of you planning on visiting my hometown of Bath anytime soon.

June Favourites!

Hi everyone, today I'm going to be talking about my favourite beauty products this June, I hope you enjoy!

The first product I'm going to be talking about is The Daily Smooth Body Butter by Soap and Glory - £9 I've been really into the soap and glory products at the moment and this is one of my favourites, it is scented with 'Mist you Madly' and it leaves your skin smelling lovely all day. It is very good for people with dry skin and its not too greasy on your skin. I also like that fact it's in a squeeze bottle instead of a tub.

Next is Face the Day Moisturiser by Good Things - £7.99 This is the best moisturiser I've ever used. It has Goji Berry and Papaya fruit extracts and words cannot describe how gorgeous it smells. It's hydrating and it leaves your face feeling very fresh, it also has SPF 15 so it protects you in the sun. It really is a must buy!

This has been my favourite perfume for years it's She by Emporio Armani - £34 I first bought this when I was in Gran Canaria so I always describe it as smelling like a holiday. I've just checked online and it says its ' a fresh blend of florals, heliotrope, almond accents and a wake of vanilla and cedar wood that melt together in perfect harmony' I'll leave it up to you to imagine what that smells like! All I know is I love it and I always get complimented when I have it on.

The Great Lash Waterproof mascara by maybelline - £4.99  is next on my list of favourites. As its summer time it's time for holidays, beaches and swimming which means its also time for waterproof mascara. This is a very good mascara and leaves your lashes looking long, it's not clumpy and you don't have to apply much for it to look great.

My friend bought me this Dream Cream hand and body lotion by Lush apparently it's Lush's number 1 product. This cream is very cooling on the skin, it's great for damaged, dry skin and for eczema sufferers. It can be applied everywhere and it leaves your skin feeling very soft it smells great too!

I've been using this nail varnish all month, it's the Milkshake by Topshop Nail Varnish - £5 it's a lovely summery colour, it's fast dying and you only need two coats which is great. It's got a nice glossy finish and the colour works really well with my skin colour.

I hope you've enjoyed reading my June favourites as much as I've enjoyed writing it. Any comments would be lovely :)

Florida Fun

Hey guys! I wanted to write a little bit about my holiday to Florida in March and post a few pictures. I don't really go on holiday that much so it was truly a one in a lifetime trip! We stayed in the Hilton Doubletree Hotel by Seaworld for two weeks, it was a lovely hotel and I would recommend it to anyone. The first park we visited was, of course, the Magic Kingdom

It literally feels like you've stepped into a Disney film and I can see why it's called the happiest place on earth. Now, I definitely am a thrill seeker so I was straight in the queue for the biggest rides here, space mountain had to be my favourite, it was soooo fast and I couldn't stop smiling the whole ride!

The next park we went to was Hollywood studios and today was the day it rained, it wasn't like English rain it was similar to something you'd see in a disaster film! It eased off a bit in the afternoon so we managed to get on rock and roller coaster and tower of terror which were both fantastic.

Bacon for dessert?!

We also went to Seaworld which I thought was amazing, I managed to touch a dolphin which has always been a dream of mine, the shows were brilliant, they actually made me a bit emotional!

We also went to Aquatica, sea worlds waterpark. I'd never been to a waterpark before so didn't really know what to expect but it was very fun! If you ever go there by some dippin' dots they're very tasty!

We also went to Animal kingdom and Epcot. I would definitely recommend going on Expedition Everest and the safari in Animal Kingdom! When we went to Epcot it was very busy so we didn't really managed to ride on anything, we went during the flower festival so it was worth going just to see all the displays!

The last parks we went to were Universal Studios and Islands of Adventures and these two were definitely my favourites!

I really enjoyed the mummy ride and Men in Black in Universal. The ques were pretty short so we managed to get everything done, if your in a rush I would skip 'twister' the sign outside said you could get 'soaked' so I but on my rain coat and everyone gave me funny looks, it wasn't until I got on the ride that I realised why, you don't get wet at all! It's a very quick ride and not a lot happens (apart from a flying cow) so I would give it a miss.

Onto Islands of Adventure now, this park was fantastic, it has different themed areas and you definitely feel like you've stepped into the movies.

Harry Potter World was breathtaking. If been wanting to ride the Hogwarts ride since I heard it was being built and it was finally time, the theming in the queue is amazing, Hogwarts is designed exactly how it is on the film and I loved watching the holograms, I didn't feel like I was queuing because I was so interested in what was all around me so before I knew it I was on the ride. Now, I can probably do any rollercoaster in the world but giant animatronic dragons and spiders I can't. As much as I would of loved to enjoy the whole ride when I saw that spider, that it was it, I had to close my eyes for the rest of it! That ride is definitely not for the arachnophobia!

The free fall ride is another ride I had doubts about I almost didn't go on it but I'm extremely glad I did it was amazing and the view is really good from the top! My favourite ride in the whole park though had to be the Hulk! Florida definitely is and will always be the best place I've ever visited and I hope I can return one day! I hope I might have given you some tips if you're planning on travelling to Florida, thanks for reading!
